The FRP checked plates are fabricated in Singapore.

The fabrication technique is mould, using glass mat and resin and the use of steel rollers to remove any air entrapment.

It is a continued process until the required plate of 8mm thickness is achieved.
Construction specifications meet to BS 4592: Part 5: 1995 for FRP Glass Reinforced Plastics.

Reinforce materials used for the checked plate construction will be 450gm mat, 800gm
woven roving. Resin used will be corrosion resistant and fire retardant isophthalic polyester resin.

The dimensions will be according to actual site dimensions.

The checked plate thickness will be 8mm, and to support a uniformly distributed load of
7.5kN/m2 or a concentrated load of 5kN over any square of side 300mm. The maximum deflection of the FRP grating under the worst load condition shall not exceed 10mm of 1/200 of the span, whichever is the lesser.

All bolts and nuts is 316 stainless steel.

Fire retardant test will comply with BS 476: Part 7: 1971 for Class Two Surface Spread of Flame.
