The FRP activated carbon columns
are fabricated in Singapore in our factory, using
hand lay technique for the moulding and filament
winding process to provide for superior strength.
Construction specifications meets
to BS 4994: 1987 for Design and Construction of
Vessels and Tanks in Reinforced Plastics and ASTM
D 3299-81 for Filament Wound Glass Fibre Reinforced
Chemical Resistant Tanks.
Reinforcing material for the tank
walls will be 450gm, mat, 800gm. Woven roving
and filament winding roving. The resin used is
vinyl ester, suitable for 50% solution of sodium
hydroxide at 40°C.
